Calendula – Long valued in traditional medicine for its wound-healing and skin-calming properties. Rich in flavonoids and triterpenes, calendula is used to soothe irritation and support tissue repair, especially in delicate skin.

Comfrey – Contains allantoin and mucilage compounds that encourage tissue regeneration and help maintain skin comfort. Traditionally applied to bruises, irritations, and areas needing extra support.

Chamomile – A gentle herb with natural anti-inflammatory and calming activity. Traditionally used to reduce redness, sensitivity, and itching, making it ideal for infant and reactive skin.

Byron Bay Hinterland Manuka Beeswax –
Harvested locally by one of Byron Bay’s honey producers. Thanks to its antibacterial action, beeswax has a long history of being used for
skin issues. Used in ointments and creams to soothe symptoms of skin
conditions. Beeswax has skin softening properties and enhances skin elasticity. The anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties of beeswax make it a highly stable base ingredient, helping to extend a product's shelf life.

Zinc Oxide – Provides a breathable, protective barrier that helps shield infant skin from moisture while reducing friction. Zinc reduces irritation and supports compromised skin, while also offering antimicrobial benefits. Topical zinc oxide may reduce inflammation and promote cell proliferation while inhibiting bacterial growth. It works by creating a barrier to moisture, providing zinc ions for essential biological processes like collagen synthesis, and reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines.

Rosehip Oil – A rich source of essential fatty acids and provitamin A compounds, supporting skin repair, hydration, and elasticity.

Shea Butter – Deeply emollient, it softens and conditions delicate skin while reinforcing the natural barrier.
